Entry onto our courses

Entry to our courses is based on individual merit and experience and a demonstrable commitment and motivation to study.All applicants are required to undertake a brief English language literacy test to assess reading and writing skills, as well as an interview.

We are an employment-focused university dedicated to ensuring our students from diverse backgrounds develop the academic knowledge and practical skills to thrive. All of our courses are part of the University’s aim to widen access to higher education. While applicants should possess previous qualifications, the whole ethos of this provision is to provide the opportunity to those who would not normally qualify for entry to a degree programme.

Any offer to study on a course offers is based on an individual’s intention, motivation, and readiness to succeed in their studies.
