Canolfan S4C Yr Egin is getting ready to host the first Creative Carmarthenshire Marketing and Communications Conference.

The conference will be held virtually on Friday, 25thJune, when a range of guest speakers will discuss how to reach an audience in Wales and beyond through marketing and communication with the main focus on digital and online elements. It is an event for professionals working within the marketing and communications world, and an opportunity for them to develop, discuss and hear innovative ideas relating to reaching audiences.

事件还将吸引企业主a variety of fields who are permanently looking for audience development and customer discovery as well as benefiting people new to the marketing world, as a way of developing and networking with other links.

During the day there will be two main presentations, the first by Owen Derbyshire, S4C's Marketing and Digital Director on marketing in Wales post-Covid, and the other to close the day by Owen Williams of Siml to discuss being brave in the use of social media as a medium. Two panel sessions will discuss 'Networking and business development in the field,' and 'Blogging and creating my own content'. One of the Creative Carmarthenshire presenters, Melanie Owen will chair the conference, and is very much looking forward to the event.

The guest speakers taking part in the conference will be Owen Derbyshire, S4C's Marketing and Digital Director, Owen Williams of Siml, blogger Jess Davies, Lowri Johnston of Mesen, Heulwen Davies of Llais Cymru, Manon Wyn James of SYLW, Rebecca Griffiths of Communiqué and head of the marketing department of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and history blogger Claire Miles.

The sessions will be a mixture of Welsh and English – with simultaneous translation in the two main presentations.
