Our Stress, Coping and Wellbeing at Work short course has been developed in response to increased concern around work-related stress and wellbeing and the need to improve understanding of the psychological processes, impact and interventions linked to tackling this growing concern.

The aim of this course is to develop a critical understanding of psychological models of stress at work and workplace wellbeing and to examine the implementation and effectiveness of interventions at an individual, organisational and systemic level.

Upon completion of the course, you should be able to show an in-depth knowledge of the underpinning psychological mechanisms involved in our stress and coping responses within workplace settings. Through your studies, you will develop a critical understanding of the application and effectiveness of different psychological interventions.

You will also learn how to critically appraise contemporary theories and evidence relating to stress, coping and workplace wellbeing. You will also learn how to present your work appropriately within the relevant ethical and professional frameworks, and with a secure understanding of the requirements of critical and reflective thinking.
