Our Research and Innovation Strategy 2022-2027 focuses on nine priorities areas:

Research Integrity & Ethics
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is committed to the maintenance of high ethical standards in the research undertaken by its staff and students, whether supported directly by the University or funded by external sources.
Postgraduate Research
The University offers research supervision for Master’s and Doctoral study across all its subject areas, Faculties and Schools. Opportunities are available to study for a research degree on each campus in Lampeter, Carmarthen, Swansea and London, or alternatively by distance learning.

Established in 1822, Lampeter has a distinguished research tradition, which not only has a global perspective but also attends to contemporary concerns through research in theology and religious studies, history, classics, archaeology, anthropology and philosophy.
Research in Celtic Languages and Literatures
Research at the Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies (CAWCS) based on the languages, literatures, culture and history of Wales and the other Celtic countries.

Research in contemporary arts practice; creative industries; design for life-science, health and wellbeing.
